all i have to say is, how the hell did you manage almost as many downloads as listens??! thats sayin somethin man...you know youre doin something good when more people d/l than even vote!! haha its a mystery to me.

Man, this piece is so damn old. It actually started out as an accident when I was learning how to use computers to make music, and I just loved how it sounded. I was actually contemplating taking this off of the site when some guy sent me a message asking if he could use this for a short experimental film. After that, I changed my mind and chose to leave it up.

I really need to fix my Juno 106. I found this on some old 4-track tapes I was going thru, so I recorded it into the computer and cleaned it up a little. I think this piece is about 3/4 years old.
My 106 crapped out on me (it had hte chip issue that most people's had). I found some guy online who makes replacement chips, and I need to pick one up, as the 106 was my baby.

VOCODER! fuck yes

ok, first off great song, the vocals are super tight, and guess what, i DO have a microKORG vocoder synth, so yeah they're sweet, i havent used mine yet in anything but fuckin around but still. and yeah it sounds a little retro, but it has so many modern aspects that it doesnt matter. good job man

That is totally not fair! I was playing with the microKorg at a Guitar Center and I almost made myself go deaf from getting the headphones too close to the mic (nasty feedback loop, although it was kinda vocoded, which was cool).
Anyway, I'm glad you like the song. It had been floating around in my head for a while, and then it just kinda came together.

i really like the piano in this, not very crazy about the drums only because i hate claps
but its user preference so i cant be too critical of that...i think it would be a cool post-rock
song, if you could find a live drummer somehow and maybe a bassist
